Grins, Giggles & Chaos!

Yes, summer is here and boy is it hot! We've been hanging around the house this past week, trying to stay cool. Rylee had VBS last week & she loved it. I was a little worried about her because she didn't know anyone in her group but she did great. :) Such a big girl! I also the kids 5 yr & 1yr photos done....they turned out really cute. The next two months are going to  be super crazy for us. Between 1 yr & 5 yr check-ups, summer dance session, dance camp & a week at the beach with family, there is no room for my adult friends or playgroups. :(  This makes me sad! Momma needs a break and I'm afraid there will not be one until Rylee starts kindergarten in August. Anyway, hope the summer is going well for y'all! Here are a few photos of my sweet girls. Enjoy! While in Dallas, Rylee had her first successful visit to the dentist. :) We tried this once before and she freaked out. So, we've been trying to get her to go ever sense. This time around, she was excited to go. We went to see "Dr. David"....my sister in law works for him, so she decided that she wanted to see him. Perfect! She did so good. No crying and she did everything Chelsea asked her to do. And NO cavities! Woohoo! Here are a few pics of Rylee getting her teeth cleaned and a fluoride treatment. :) Until next time . . . xoxo

My sweet baby girl turned ONE of June 10th! Boy, time flies! We had her party Sunday in Dallas and it turned out great! It was just a small party with family & friends and she had a blast. Happy 5th Birthday, Rylee Madison! Mommy is so proud of you. It seems just like yesterday you were this tiny baby girl & now you are a beautiful, sweet, caring & loving little girl. Boy, time flies. You are the best big sister and the sweetest daughter a mom could ask for. :) I hope you have the happiest of happy birthdays today. I love you doodlebug! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Today is also my brother, Michael's birthday! {HAPPY BIRTH DAY, Michael!}  Super special that my daughter and brother share a birthday. Tonight we had dinner with some family & friends and then we headed to my aunt's house for cake, cookies & presents. :) We had a great time!! Today, we celebrated Rylee's 5th birthday with a super cool party at The Crafty Cottage. The Crafty Cottage is a cute little art/craft studio in Bentonville and all the kids at the party were able to pick out & paint a ceramic goody! The kids had SO much fun. Her actual birthday is not until Tuesday, but were decided to go ahead and have her party here because we are going to be in Dallas all next week. The fun part about the party was that my brother & sister in law were in town for the weekend and she was thrilled they were able to attend her party. It turned out great! Thanks to everyone who came & to Sarah & Michael for helping me. I love y'all! Of course, we will do a little birthday dinner in Dallas on her actual birthday - she will be on cloud nine! Saturday was Rylee's first dance recital and she did so good! She was so cute up on stage dancing to "Single Ladies." All the girls in her class looked so cute & did so well - we were SUPER proud of them! Way to go, Rylee! You are mommy's TINY DANCER! Today is Rylee's last day of preschool. I can remember when she started - I enrolled her in MDO {mothers day out} when she was 2 and she has been at the same school since. This year was special because she was SO excited for preschool. She loves to learn & I hope she continues to love learning throughout her school years. I am so sad that my first baby will start kindergarten in August, but I am happy for her at the same time. Today is special because Rylee had a mini  birthday party at school and I picked up special cookies from Rick's Bakery for her class. I hope they liked them. :) {these are not the best pictures.
