Grins, Giggles & Chaos!

This weekend, we were supposed to be in Dallas. We had planned to go to our favorite tradition, The Great State Fair of Texas. I've been going to the fair ever since I was little. Our school had a "fair day." Every student/teacher got a free ticket, and we were out of school the entire day. SO awesome. {Dallas and surrounding cities still have "fair days"} Type A me, I checked the weather all week leading up to our trip. RAIN. 70% chance rain all day Saturday. UGH. So, we didn't make it to Dallas. Boo. The girls were sad.  BUT We did go to Tulsa for the day, and took the girls to the State Fair of Tulsa. Now, I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere near as cool as the State Fair of Texas, but it was worse than I thought. First of all, there was no security check. Last Wed, I picked up Sarah {my SIL} from the airport. She stayed with us until Sunday. The kids LOVED it! We hung out, went Junkin', and just had the best time. Rylee loves it when her "sissy" comes to visit. Sunday, we headed to Tulsa. Since Rylee was going back w/Sarah to Dallas for Spring Break, we decided to head over to Tulsa early so we could hit up the Aquarium. Let's just say I wasn't impressed. The girls had fun, but the adults - not so much. ;) I was expecting it to be much bigger, but it wasn't. Oh well, lesson learned!  Here are a few photos from the aquarium.
