Our visitor!

Image
Last Wed, I picked up Sarah {my SIL} from the airport. She stayed with us until Sunday. The kids LOVED it! We hung out, went Junkin', and just had the best time. Rylee loves it when her "sissy" comes to visit. Sunday, we headed to Tulsa. Since Rylee was going back w/Sarah to Dallas for Spring Break, we decided to head over to Tulsa early so we could hit up the Aquarium. Let's just say I wasn't impressed. The girls had fun, but the adults - not so much. ;) I was expecting it to be much bigger, but it wasn't. Oh well, lesson learned!  Here are a few photos from the aquarium.

Fashion Show

A few months ago, Rylee went to an open call for models. NWA was having a Fashion Week , and needed models of all ages. When we arrived, there were SO many kids waiting for their turn to strut their stuff. With this being her first casting call, she was nervous, and then to see all the kids there, she began to get SUPER DUPER nervous. She was like #30 in line, but she did a great job. A few weeks later, the model announcement was made, and sure enough, Rylee was on the list. :) She was beyond excited! She was chosen for the 3 Monkeys Show {3 Monkeys is a local boutique}  Last Saturday was the fashion show, and she did a great job on the runway. Of course, now she wants to be a model. Which, if this is something she really wants to do, I'm fine with it. She did tell me the other day that if she continues to be a model, she is moving to NYC, and will live in a penthouse. Oh boy!  It totally makes me smile that my girl has big hopes & dreams.  Here is a little video...

Do tha' Potty Dance!

Image
. . . . . . . . actually, we don't need to. The girl is potty trained! Yes, Landry is potty trained, and it only took 2 days. Woohoo! NO MORE DIAPERS! It was so easy this time around. With Rylee, she is such a strong willed child, that she was determined NOT potty train. I believe she was 2 days shy of her 3rd birthday before she wanted to sit on the potty. Once she did it, she was trained in one day. I'm just happy to check that part of child raising off my list. :)

Valentine's party

The Thursday before Valentine's Day, Landry's class had their party. She wore her new outfit, and looked super cute! They had a craft, and decorated heart sugar cookies. What could be better than that? Here are a few photos from her little party.
